On December 17, 2014, the Tianjin Science and Technology Commission announced the selection results of high-level innovative science and technology leading talents, outstanding entrepreneurs (private), and high-level innovation and entrepreneurship teams in the Special Talent Development Support Plan of Tianjin in 2014. After the review and recommendation of relevant units, the Science and Technology Commission organized experts to conduct the review, and a total of 20 high-level innovative science and technology leading talents were produced. Professor Xingang Li, director of the Distillation Center, was among them.
The "Special Support Plan for Talent Development in Tianjin" is based on the "National Special Support Plan for High-level Talents" and the "Medium - and long-term Talent Development Plan of Tianjin (2010-2020)". “High-level innovative science and technology leading talents” is one of the projects of the special support program training, aiming at supporting long-term scientific and technical experts working in the field.
