Professor Xingang Li won the title of "National Outstanding Scientific and Technical Workers"
Recently, the China Science and Technology Association announced the list of 6th "National Outstanding Scientific and Technical Workers ". Professor Xingang Li, director of the Distillation Center and general manager of Pei-yang National Distillation Technology Engineering Development Co., Ltd., won the honor.
Professor Xingang Li is an outstanding backbone teacher of the Ministry of Education, Tianjin Model Worker, and an expert enjoying special allowances from the State Council. He has long been engaged in mass transfer and separation engineering, large-scale distillation process, chemical process strengthening and energy saving, environmental separation process research, presided over the completion of more than 30 scientific research projects, won one Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second Prize of National Technology Invention, 21 provincial and ministerial level scientific research achievement awards, 69 national invention patent authorizations, and published more than 580 academic papers.
The "National Outstanding Scientific and Technical Workers " is known as the "Oscar" reputation and "model workers in science and technology " of the Chinese science and technology community. It is the highest award in the Chinese science and technology community. It is awarded every two years and no more than 1,000 people are awarded each time. The award is given only once with a lifetime honor. It aims to commend the people in the field of science and technology with the spirit of patriotism, pragmatism and innovation, hard work and dedication, solidarity and cooperation, exemplary observance of scientific ethics, and people who work on scientific research and development, popularization and promotion, scientific and technological personnel training and promoting the integration of science and technology in natural science, technical science, engineering technology and related scientific fields.
This selection was recommended by the recommendation unit, evaluated by the National Excellent Science and Technology Workers Evaluation Committee, and approved by the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology. A total of 963 people were awarded the title.
