China-Russia cooperation agreement was signed
On March 7, 2014, the platform of Tianjin University of Chemical and Tianjin Cooperative Innovation Center and the Institute of Thermal Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was held in the conference building of Tianjin University. Yingjin Yuan, vice president of Tianjin University, attended the ceremony. Professor Xingang Li, director of the National Engineering Research Center of Distillation Technology, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University, and Professor Sergey V. ALEKSEENKO, director of the Institute of Thermal Physics, Siberian Branch signed an agreement on behalf of both parties. Xinbin Ma, dean of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, vice dean Yongli Sun, Yindan Fu, vice president of the Research Institute of Tianjin University, and Hong Sui, associate professor of the Distillation Center of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, attended the signing ceremony.
It is reported that the Institute of Thermal Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is one of the most well-known research institutions in this field in the world. Its main research directions include a series of world-class research fields including boiling fluid dynamics theory, similar theory of heat transfer in physical and chemical changes, heat and mass transfer in porous media, gas-liquid two-phase fluid mechanics, rectification technology, energy-saving technology and new energy.
The two sides agreed to rely on the scientific and technical discipline advantages of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Tianjin University and plan to cooperate with the Russian side in the hydrodynamics and heat and mass transfer of the distillation process, green chemical and energy, and energy-saving technologies, forming a complementary and long-term close partnership.
After the signing ceremony, the leaders had a discussion on the future cooperation in various aspects. It is believed that the bilateral cooperation will further promote the construction of the Tianjin Chemical and Chemical Collaborative Innovation Center and the China-Russian Industrial Ecological Center.
